Board Games

Surprise, we do board games too! While working on our upcoming titles we have also been dabbling in board game design and production. All of our board games so far have been released at conventions/fairs and not distributed online, just yet. As we we continue chugging along with more concepts, be on the lookout for us to be at upcoming smaller board game friendly conventions and some renaissance festivals.

Introducing: Song of Time

We are excited to announce the development of Song of Time, an action-adventure sandbox game about collecting spirits, challenging a variety of dungeons, defeating bosses, and gathering resources to progress in equipment.

Song of Time encourages the player to plant themselves into its cryptic world, with the ability to directly type any question or statement to the protagonist’s companion as a tool to uncover the mysteries of this unfamiliar realm. As the protagonist Songbird learns more about their surroundings, so too does the player, as you piece together the events that brought upon the apparent death of this world and reveal the memories of Songbird’s past lives.

Global Game Jam 2021

We did it again and won another Game Jam!

The Depths is a top down stealth-horror game, where you are an explorer in charge of retrieving ancient artifacts that were lost in a forgotten temple. You happen upon the temple by falling through the eroding ceiling, and realize the exit to the temple is locked. While you struggle to find the key, to your delight you do find many treasures, but also discover an evil lurking in the dark.

You can investigate the world of Duvania piece by piece by reading writings left behind from the former dwellers, as well as studying the empty corridors. What is it that caused the mysterious disappearance of an ancient community? How will you avoid the horror that rose from The Depths?

The Depths is something that we will further pursue in the future under proper development. This was made in one weekend for the theme prompt: Lost and Found. We took home the prize for best execution of the theme, and overall best in show.

Quarantine Arena Stream Contest

Are you ready to stream? We would love to see it. Start streaming on twitch under the “Quarantine Arena” category, post about it in our discord, and when we join you will have a chance to win an exclusive t-shirt! This tainted Covid-demon is ready to make it’s way to your wardrobe, all you have to do is have a little luck on your side and some arena skills to show off on stream. Contest starts on August 24th and will run through September 7th, or until we run out of t-shirts to give away. Don’t delay we only have 5 shirts available!

Quarantine Arena Release Contest

We are excited to announce our Quarantine Arena release contest, now sponsored by BAWLS Guarana!

To enter you must screenshot your “Home Sweet Home” ending screen after completing all 10 waves of Ultra Violence or Nightmare difficulty levels. Post your screenshot into our discord channel #contest-submisions. Streaming of attempts is highly encouraged! Please let us know in our discord server and we will gladly tune in to watch.

There will be 4 winners in the Ultra Violence category whom will receive 1 exclusive t-shirt with the green Covid-demon.

One winner in the Nightmare category will receive a one of a kind red Infernal Covid-demon t-shirt, a case of BAWLS in their preferred flavor, and some BAWLS swag.

Quarantine Arena: The Second Wave

This top down shooter was made as part of a QuakeCon 2020 QuakeCon at Home event Version Alpha: Homebrew Game Jam, hosted by Asterisk. Quarantine Arena took first place in the competition. The event release was made in 20 hours. We decided that we could add a bit more to the game and spent one additional week making the game even more difficult and fun.

More enemies, more waves, a boss battle, and new items; If you played the game before you will want to try it again.

  • Added Nightmare difficulty.
  • Added Endless mode.
  • After wave 4, BAWLS will grant shotgun shells, and rockets depending on the difficulty.
  • Slightly increased ammo gained on BAWLS pickups.
  • Added a speed boost at the end of the wave for quick item cleanup.
  • Dashing now provides invulnerability frames.
  • Enemies that just spawned will no longer be able to attack the player for half a second.
